Make An Exhibition Of The Art In Your Parent's House
1.
Album covers, signed posters, and newspaper clippings all having to do with the Beach Boys. The picture on the bottom left is one my dad took in the 70's, one's more recent, and a couple are from when he was a teenager. I think they're cute.
2.
My dad's Hard Day's Night movie poster.
3.
A self-portrait my sister Bethany painted when she was in high school. I always really liked it, especially the lights.
4.
What my mom painted above our stove.
5.
What's above our fireplace. I think this was the first thing that was hanging in our house when we first moved to Carlsbad. All the plants in it are numbered and you can read what they are at the bottom.
6.
Same.
7.
A print i made last year of my great aunt Gladys. I gave it to my parents over the summer in a letter i sent them.
8.
When i was 9 years old and bored my mom got sick of me and started buying canvases for me to paint. She didn't like the clouds and i didn't like the rug and i'm surprised it's still hanging in our house.
9.
Pointillism cat that Bethany drew for my dad for one of his birthdays. I think. I really like pointillism.
10.
I moved to Oregon and my mom turned my room into her craft room. This is above the desk she works at.
11.
One of my mom's first projects that i can remember.
12.
In Bethany's room.

15.
Skateboards she designed. A bunch of things stacked and arranged. She gave me one for my birthday. I chose the one with the cactus and i think it's super cool. It was hard to decide which one to take.
16.
Apparently this is from her work. It's better in real life.
